Terms and Conditions – Mister Detail
The terms and conditions outlined below represent the policies of Mister Detail with respect to all customers. By engaging our services, all customers agree to abide by these terms. At Mister Detail, our goal is to provide a seamless and high-quality mobile detailing experience. Your vehicle’s care and our commitment to proper detailing practices are our top priorities. We will not perform any service that risks damaging your vehicle or compromising safety. Pre-Service Disclosure Before Mister Detail begins work on your vehicle, you, the customer, must inform us of any pre-existing cosmetic or mechanical conditions that could affect our ability to complete the detail. Examples include, but are not limited to, dead batteries, non-functional windows, stuck trunks, or broken components. Additionally, if your vehicle contains potential health or safety hazards (e.g., mold, sharp objects, biohazards, or chemicals), you must notify your detail technician prior to the appointment. You will be held accountable for any health or safety issues resulting from undisclosed conditions. Service Refusal and On-Site Issues If we arrive and find that your vehicle cannot be safely or effectively detailed due to undisclosed issues, a 25% fee of the scheduled appointment cost will be charged. If you are not present at the scheduled time and location without prior notice, a 50% fee of the appointment cost will apply. Mister Detail reserves the right to refuse service at our discretion. Appointments We strive to arrive as close to your scheduled time as possible. However, unforeseen circumstances (e.g., traffic, weather, or prior job overruns) may delay us. Your safety and ours will never be compromised to rush a job. If delays occur, we will contact you via text or phone with an updated arrival time. Pricing is based on vehicle type (car or SUV/truck), selected service (exterior, interior, or both), and the vehicle’s condition. Additional fees may apply for excessive dirt, pet hair, heavy stains, or debris removal, reflecting the extra time and materials required. These will be discussed and agreed upon on-site before work begins. Vehicle Classification: When booking on misterdetailpro.com, customers are responsible for selecting the correct vehicle type (e.g., “Car” or “SUV/Truck”). If the selected option does not match the actual vehicle upon arrival (e.g., booking a “Car” service for an SUV or truck), the price will be adjusted to reflect the appropriate category. Final pricing will be determined on-site based on the vehicle’s actual type and condition, and customers will be informed of any adjustments before work starts. Property Damage Customers agree to release Mister Detail, its owner, and affiliates from liability for accidental property damage unrelated to our detailing services, including but not limited to legal fees or claims. Due to the mobile nature of our work, some risk of minor property exposure may exist, and customers assume this risk by engaging our services. We will not remove or install car seats, custom accessories (e.g., seat covers, audio equipment, or decals), or other personal modifications unless absolutely necessary and with your explicit consent. If you want these areas cleaned underneath, please remove them prior to our arrival. Booking and Cancellation Policy A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to change or cancel an appointment without penalty. Bookings can be made via misterdetailpro.com using Wix Bookings, with no upfront payment required. If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice, a $20 cancellation fee will be charged. For bookings with multiple vehicles, each vehicle is treated as a separate appointment, and cancellation fees apply per vehicle (e.g., a 3-car booking canceled late incurs 3x $20 fees). If you need to adjust an appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, you have these options: Reschedule: Move to an available slot at no extra cost. Cancel: Incur the $20 cancellation fee per vehicle, payable at your next booking or via alternate arrangement. Mister Detail reserves the right to modify or withdraw these options as needed. Expectations We aim to deliver exceptional results, but there are no guarantees that your vehicle will be restored to a specific condition (e.g., “brand new”). Outcomes depend on the vehicle’s age, prior condition, and other factors beyond our control. Payment We accept cash or credit/debit cards via a mobile card reader. Payment is due in full upon completion of the detail. Pricing may be adjusted on-site based on the vehicle’s type, condition, or additional hazards (e.g., excessive dirt or pet hair), and any changes will be agreed upon before work starts. A $25 fee applies for returned payments or insufficient funds if alternate payment arrangements are made. Photography By booking with us, you grant Mister Detail permission to photograph or video your vehicle for marketing purposes. These materials will not be sold or shared with third parties. Damage and Claims Mister Detail is not liable for minor cosmetic damage (e.g., light scratches from normal detailing) that may occur during service. For significant damage caused by our gross negligence or intentional misconduct, we will cover repairs at a shop or vendor of our choosing, after reviewing at least three customer-provided invoices and two of our own estimates. If you notice an issue after the service that wasn’t apparent during our final walk-around, contact us within 24 hours. If needed, a touch-up appointment must be scheduled within 5 days. Customers agree to hold harmless Mister Detail, its owner, and affiliates from any liabilities, damages, or legal costs arising post-service.
